We do not bundle a human ghostwriter or a human developmental editor into any tier. If you want a paid human editor in addition, we can point you to freelancers, but it isn't part of what you're buying from us.
Every draft chapter in the Forge is AI-generated against your Framework and voice. If the idea of an AI touching your prose at all is a dealbreaker, this isn't your service — go with a traditional human ghostwriter instead.
The Approvals queue is the whole point — you're the human in the loop, and nothing ships to production without your sign-off. If you want to pay once and never look at the manuscript again until it's "done," that workflow assumption doesn't hold here.
We don't claim outcomes — sales rank, copies sold, or bestseller status. We build the manuscript, the production pipeline, and the launch checklist. What happens in the market after that depends on your audience, category, and marketing execution, same as it would with any publisher.
Our editorial pass (Stage 3 and the standalone Editorial Assessment) runs after you have a draft — it's a specialist AI panel reviewing structure, voice, and consistency against your Framework. If what you need is a human developmental editor shaping your manuscript's concept and structure before a word is drafted, that's a different service than what we sell.
The Forge drafts against your voice and Framework, and Consistency Check catches canon drift — but it's still AI drafting. If a single AI-sounding sentence anywhere in the manuscript is unacceptable to you, plan on doing a full manual pass yourself (or hiring a human editor) after your draft, not skipping review because "the AI already fixed it."
